Pay rent

Paying rent should be the easy part of renting.

Three ways to pay, all secure, all in one place. Sign in to your tenant portal whenever you're ready.

How it works

Pick the method that fits your routine.

All three are processed through PCI-compliant providers. We never see or store your bank or card numbers.

Bank transfer (ACH)

Connect your checking account once. Free, no fees, clears in 1–2 business days.

Most common

Debit or credit card

Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or Discover. Instant payment with a small processing fee (typically 2.9%).

Best for last-minute

Autopay

Set it once and rent is pulled automatically on the 1st of every month using your default method.

Set and forget

Prefer paper?

Mail check or money order to Nottingham Property Group, 200 E. Big Beaver Rd., Troy, MI 48083. Write your unit address and tenant name on the memo line. Allow 5 business days for the payment to post.

Got a question?

Email residents@nottinghamgrp.com or call (248) 555-0144 during business hours. We answer every message within one business day.

Bank-grade security

Payments processed through PCI-compliant providers (Stripe / Plaid). Your account numbers are tokenized and never stored on our servers.

Receipts every time

Every payment generates an automatic email receipt and a ledger entry in your portal. Annual summaries are downloadable for tax season.

Real humans, real help

Issues with a payment? The same property manager who handles your lease answers your email. No call centers, no ticket queues.

Common questions

Quick answers.

When is rent due?

The 1st of each month. Most leases include a 5-day grace period before late fees apply — check your specific lease for the exact terms.

Can I pay partial rent?

Yes, sign in and pay any amount. The unpaid balance still accrues per your lease terms. If you're going to be short, message your property manager first — we can usually work out a plan that avoids late fees.

How do I save a payment method?

Sign in, go to Pay rent, enter your bank or card once, and check 'Save for future payments.' Next month it auto-fills.

Where do I find my receipts?

Inside the tenant portal under Tax documents. Annual rent summaries become available January 15 each year.
